Coaching
Unleash a renewed sense of meaning and momentum, in midlife and beyond
1:1 life visioning and leadership coaching for passionate women business owners and curious humans
So you’ve been feeling off for some time and don’t quite know why.
On paper, life still looks normal—maybe even great.
After all, you’ve been cruising full steam ahead at work, and nobody doubts that you can manage everything like a boss. From raising a family to steadily checking off big career milestones, you’ve got so much to be proud of.
So… why do you feel stuck? Why are you looking around and thinking “Is this it?”.
There. There’s the honest part, that soul rumble that might be hard to admit out loud (or even to allow to bubble up in your chest).
It’s not that you haven’t actually done the things that were supposed to make you happy—you led the team, earned the promotion, found the partner—it’s just that something’s still missing.
But what? And why? And how are you going to finally put your finger on that “something” (...preferably before all that internal pressure boils over)?
Welcome to the Messy Middle
What you’re feeling is normal—and actually, right on time.
The what-ifs of early adulthood are settled but some magic and mystery got lost on the way. You are tired of seeing the same old patterns play out and some old roles, identities, and dare I say people, don’t quite fit anymore.
The messy midlife middle serves a powerful purpose (and no, it’s not just to make you feel like a soda bottle that’s been shaken by your teenager).
It’s the push your psyche needs to pivot when old sources of meaning and identity no longer sustain you. It’s the urge to channel new (or long-buried) passions and ideas, and bring them out into the world.
And in this moment, midlife has the potential to act as a guide.
Maturity brings the freedom to reprioritize, and then wholeheartedly pursue what sparks your interest, joy, and aliveness.
Instead of a crisis, you’ve reached a doorway—an invitation to walk through a portal and reimagine yourself, crafting a future that is deeply authentic and satisfying.
“People may call what happens at midlife “a crisis,” but it’s not. It’s an unraveling — a time when you are challenged by the universe to let go of who you think you are supposed to be and to embrace who you are.”
— Brene Brown
Your inner creator and leader is longing to re-emerge
Think back to a time when you were so lit up by a project that hours slipped by.
When you created things that made you come alive, when you were curious for the heck of it, when conviction poured freely into your work.
That you—the self-expressed, lit-up, magnetic you—didn't vanish. She might have quieted under the weight of expectations, parenting duties, “responsible” choices, and routines that have settled a bit too firmly, but that aliveness still lives within.
And that inner spark is right there, just waiting to be rekindled.

Here’s how your coaching experience unfolds
There’s no one-size-fits-all plan to follow because the reality of coaching is a lot more, well, real—grounded in who you are and your own unique circumstances.
Instead, Waking Up to What’s Possible offers you the supportive structure to:
-
DISCOVER YOUR NORTH STAR
You’ll connect the dots between your deeper purpose and the changes you’ve been craving. Something’s calling on you to realign right now, and it’s time to align your inner and outer worlds.
-
CHOOSE YOUR STRATEGIES
With curiosity and care, we'll eyeball the patterns running the show in your life right now. Which habits and go-to coping strategies might be past their expiration date? What will serve you now?
-
EXPLORE YOUR ENNEAGRAM TYPE
We’ll use the Enneagram to sketch out the unique blueprint of your personality. It’s not about putting yourself in a box—it’s about learning to harness your innate strengths and approach your challenges with new, true-to-you insight.
-
VENTURE OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Around here, coaching is about being and doing. You’ll try out your new strategies, build your confidence, and strengthen your self-trust to venture even further ahead.
-
TAME THE INNER CRITIC
It’s time to talk back—wisely. On the precipice of growth, your inner judge often has a lot to say, but you’ll learn to quiet its faulty arguments and continue orienting back to your North Star.
-
SHIFT FROM REACTIVE TO RESPONSIVE
You'll learn to harness tools to shift from unconscious reactivity to conscious responsiveness when strong feelings surge (yours, or your loved ones’). Less emotional turbulence + more connection ahead.
Your coaching experience includes:
-
A 90-minute virtual discovery session where we get to know YOU and start visualizing your values, your vision, your inner leader, and even those pesky inner critics.
-
3x/month, 50-minute coaching sessions on Zoom, so whether you live in San Francisco (me too!) or Seoul, we’re able to work together.
-
Weekly email check-ins (plus ongoing email access) to support your learning and momentum between sessions.
-
A personal Enneagram assessment and debrief to find your type and shed new light on your habituated strategies of feeling, thinking and acting.
-
Customized homework, practices, tools, and recommendations (think worksheets, books, podcasts, videos, meditations, and more), curated specifically for you.
-
A final integration session where we capture your transformation in a bespoke, hand-illustrated LeaderStory graphic to light your way forward.
“In a single session with Nevada I moved from a land of “good ideas” to an expressed vision that supports me in moving forward. Through Nevada’s coaching, I now have a resource that supports and calls me into my bigger vision providing clarity of purpose, creativity and impact. I am now in touch with my what’s next!”

As a Co-Active Coach, I believe fundamentally in the power of both being and doing: cultivating a true sense of connection to who we are and the impact we want to make in the world.
Like you, I’ve journeyed through my own personal and professional recalibration in my 40s. For me the deep work of this phase was moving from looking for approval and “success” to showing up authentically and fully connected to my heart. It required some big pattern shifts (a breast cancer diagnosis was a big wake up call) and allowed me to redesign my marriage of 20 years to be one full of deep intimacy and connection (we call it Marriage 2.0). Coaching was integral to my shift.
Across 20 years of coaching, facilitating and running a business, I’ve witnessed what’s possible when people are truly seen and listened to—and I’ve developed deep expertise in how change happens from within. I see coaching as a path to help people connect deeply with themselves and others, so we can create a more conscious, inclusive world together.
If you’re curious about waking up to what’s possible for your life and what you long to create in the years ahead, I’d be honored to be your coach.
Good questions are at the heart of coaching
You might be curious about these.
How is coaching different from therapy or consulting?
While coaching and therapy both involve introspection and inner work, therapy typically looks at the past while coaching aims to help you look forward to design and achieve the future you envision.
Unlike a consultant or strategist, I won’t provide advice or tell you what to do: instead, I ask powerful questions, help you tune into yourself, and connect not just to what you do but to who you are.
What’s the time commitment that’s involved in coaching?
When we work together, we meet for three 50-minute sessions each month. Between sessions, you’ll often have exercises to try out, and you’re always encouraged to email me with insights and questions. To get the most out of your coaching experience, you’ll want to ensure that you can protect the time on your calendar, as well as the brain space, for some inner work and engaged action.
What if I’m not in midlife, or don’t consider myself to be in midlife?
Depending who you ask, midlife generally encompasses people in their 40s to early 50s, but we don’t have to get hung up on the definition. You may find that insights about midlife prove to be a helpful frame for your experiences, but ultimately, if you’re in a phase of frustration, stuckness, or recalibration, I’m here to support you.
Perimenopause is definitely related to midlife transitions, right? Will we talk about that at all?
If that’s relevant to you, absolutely! I’m a coach, not a doctor, so I’ll never offer health guidance, but I believe awareness of perimenopause is relevant and important. I’m also committed to countering the narrative that midlife is about needing to “fix” changing bodies, so you won’t experience any of those messages with me.
Will you help me change careers or start a business?
While my own career personally involves decades of business ownership, I’m not a business coach. Our work together often intersects with a professional goal or a body of work you’re craving the chance to create, but it’s not contingent on a career change. Coaching attends to your development as a whole person, so we’ll explore your goals and desires across your life.
What are your credentials?
For 20+ years, I’ve been dedicated to facilitating change for individuals and teams. Essentially, if I coach on it, I’m certified in it, because I believe in offering you the highest level of support and integrity! Some of the highlights include being an International Coaching Federation Certified Coach, Certified Team Performance Coach (CTPC), a Co-Active Training Institute Leadership Program graduate, Certified Enneagram Practitioner (iEQ9), and Enneagram Professional Mastery Certification (CP Enneagram). I also hold an M.S. in Organization Development.
Personally, I also work with breathwork, meditation, yoga, energy healing, plant medicines, process painting, somatic experiencing, parts work, embodiment practices and more, so I’m familiar with blending healing modalities to support growth and transformation.
