Kathy’s LeaderStory

Nevada worked with Kathy, a seasoned executive, to visualize her leadership journey by guiding her through our LeaderStory process.

The process included a discovery phase, where Nevada worked with Kathy to discover the elements of her story using a combination of coaching and live sketching, both done over Zoom. Once Kathy decided on the elements of her story, and the images and quotes that she hoped to include, Nevada created an initial sketch. Together they refined the sketch until the words and images both reflected Kathy’s journey and inspired her to share her story.

The final hand-drawn illustration, which is 4 feet by 6 feet, included images of Kathy fly-fishing with her father as a child, a quote by her favorite poet, and a black crow that held special significance for her.

Kathy received the large graphic to display at an upcoming town hall, as well as a digitized image she could share in virtual settings to help her onboard new team members and build relationships with peers.
