If I could only hold on to one book on organizational development in my library, it would be Managing Transitions: Making the Most of Change by William Bridges. It’s beautifully written, full of heart, and reflects the real-world experience of what happens to people in times of change. It also contains practical wisdom for leaders about what to do, and not do, to help your organization effectively move to a new stage in its lifecycle.
